Canapés handed round with the first drink, bowl food that lets people keep talking, a proper sit-down dinner for a milestone birthday, or a relaxed spread for a garden party. Tell us the occasion and the room, and we’ll suggest a format, the food is restaurant standard either way.

Yes, we bring the kitchen to you. Gardens and marquees, village halls, barns, private dining rooms and hotels. For smaller numbers our chefs cook and serve in your own home, then leave it exactly as they found it.

Three to six months is comfortable for a milestone birthday or a big anniversary, and summer weekends go early. Smaller dinners and drinks parties often come together in a few weeks, and we can sometimes turn something round faster than that. If your date is close, ring us, the worst we can say is no.

We do. A chef comes to your house, cooks in your kitchen and serves at your table, a birthday dinner for eight, an anniversary, or simply an evening you’d rather spend with your guests than at the hob. Everything is washed up and put away before we go, and the only sign we were there is what people say about the food afterwards.

Yes, chefs, waiting staff and bar staff can all be built into your quote, so no one in the family ends up handing round trays. We’ll pour the welcome drinks, run the bar, keep the canapés coming and clear everything down at the end.

We don’t work from set packages. Every party quote is priced per head and built around your numbers, your venue and how you want the evening to run, food, chefs and service staff, plus crockery, glassware and equipment where you need them.

We do, and we handle them gently. Sandwiches and hot forks, pies, cakes and proper tea, set up quietly before people arrive back, kept coming without anyone having to ask, and cleared away at the end. We can usually work to short notice, so please just call and we’ll take it off your hands.
